Job Summary of Inventory Control Supervisor:
This role involves overseeing a specific segment within the store, directing a team of employees to secure optimal availability of goods, adherence to departmental standards, and financial success. It involves providing leadership, support, and guidance while upholding high levels of customer satisfaction and operational standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Inventory Control Supervisor:
- Assist and coach associates within their designated workspace to help them reach performance targets.
- Ensure that shelves and presentations are fully stocked and maintained to adhere to store standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure the department is clean and well-prepared.
- Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and effectiveness.
- Strategize and make arrangements for sales events or promotions that will influence the department.
- Utilize simple arithmetic operations and inventory software to preserve the accuracy of stock information.
Qualifications and Experience of Inventory Control Supervisor:
- Preference is given to candidates with past retail or supervisory involvement.
- Demonstrating robust communication and leadership capabilities is a must.
- Competence in entrusting duties, giving evaluations, and handling time proficiently.
- Proficient at performing well in rapidly changing work environments and handling multiple tasks competently.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible timetable that includes weekends, nights, and holidays.

Salary:
Compensation for this specific position ranges from $16.00 to $23.00 an hour, with the potential to earn extra premiums of up to $3.00.
