Job Duties and Responsibilities of Software Engineering Senior Manager:

• Provide leadership and guidance to engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure adherence to software quality standards through continuous updates on best practices, automated testing, monitoring, and proactive production support.
• Develop and execute product development strategies using Agile methodologies, promoting iterative, flexible, and collaborative delivery.
• Leverage data insights and implement scalable machine learning algorithms and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
• Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, communicating priorities, removing obstacles, and measuring performance against standards.
• Collaborate closely with program and product management teams to prioritize and align engineering work with business goals.

Qualifications and Experience of Software Engineering Senior Manager:

• Experience with platform customization and development, preferably within a large-scale e-commerce environment.
• Strong leadership background managing medium to large engineering teams in dynamic settings.
• Proven expertise in building cloud-native, full stack applications designed for scalability and reliability.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience working with public cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient in Agile and CI/CD methodologies within large team environments.
• Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with extensive industry experience.
• Preferred: Experience developing e-commerce advertisement systems and knowledge of digital accessibility standards.
