Job Summary:

As a Cafe Associate at Sam's Club, you will be at the heart of providing a warm and welcoming environment for our members. Your role will focus on preparing delicious, ready-to-eat food while delivering fast and friendly service to ensure that every member leaves satisfied. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food orders according to member specifications while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain stock levels and ensure availability of fresh items in the café.
• Assist members by answering questions, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Operate and sanitize kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, and grills, following safety protocols.
• Monitor and manage inventory to ensure fresh ingredients are readily available and minimize waste.
• Provide assistance in maintaining a clean, sanitized, and welcoming café area for members and fellow associates.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on food quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Salary:

$17.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience and location. Additional premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply depending on shift or job performance.
