Fuel Station Team Associate
Job Summary of Fuel Station Team Associate:
This position supports fuel station operations by delivering prompt and friendly customer service while ensuring a clean, safe, and fully stocked environment. The role involves handling payments, replenishing inventory, and monitoring equipment to ensure uninterrupted service. It requires attention to detail and the ability to remain on task during independently managed shifts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Fuel Station Team Associate:
- Assist customers at the fuel station with inquiries, transactions, and product selection.
- Operate point-of-sale equipment to process fuel, merchandise, and other related payments accurately.
- Restock shelves with snacks, beverages, and convenience items as needed throughout the shift.
- Perform routine safety checks and report any fuel pump malfunctions or potential hazards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the fuel station including floors, pumps, windows, and storage areas.
- Ensure signage and pricing information is current and correctly displayed.
- Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of fuel, spill response procedures, and secure cash handling.
Qualifications and Experience of Fuel Station Team Associate:
- Prior experience in retail, fuel service, or convenience store environments is helpful but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle transactions efficiently.
- Comfortable working independently and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math and computer literacy skills for operating POS systems.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization under time-sensitive conditions.
- Understanding of safety and emergency response procedures related to fuel operations is a plus.

Salary:
- Hourly wage ranges from $14 to $27, depending on responsibilities and experience.
- Premiums between $0.35 and $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, or tasks performed.
