Job Summary of Warehouse Management System:

This role focuses on driving performance, ensuring safety and quality compliance, managing financials, and building strong community and team relationships. The position plays a key role in developing business plans, improving operational effectiveness, and mentoring leaders across the facility while fostering a culture aligned with Walmart’s values of integrity, excellence, and service to the customer.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Management System:

• Communicate effectively with associates, suppliers, and customers in both verbal and written formats.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with production, safety, and quality goals.
• Forecast staffing and workload needs and track performance to meet business demands.
• Manage financial performance by monitoring expenses, asset utilization, and analyzing business reports.
• Ensure full compliance with Walmart Logistics and company safety standards and procedures.
• Resolve associate, supplier, and customer concerns using sound judgment and collaboration.
• Serve as a liaison to the community through outreach programs and company-sponsored events.
• Lead, coach, and manage associates and leaders by setting goals, giving feedback, and providing development opportunities.
• Support talent development through hiring, training, evaluating, and promoting associates.

Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Management System:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Management, or related field and 2 years of senior management experience in operations, distribution, or logistics
• OR 2 years of experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager
• OR 4 years of senior management experience in an operations, retail, or logistics environment
• Experience in mentoring leaders, managing workload, and overseeing facility-wide staffing and promotions
• Completion of all required trainings and assessments, including Academy and compliance training

Salary:

The aual salary range for this role is $116,000 to $174,000, with eligibility for performance based bonuses and additional compensation such as regional pay, stock, and other incentives depending on role type.
