Job Summary of Asset Protection Operations Coach:
This role is responsible for driving sales performance through effective merchandise presentation, team leadership, and operational excellence. You will oversee merchandising accuracy, inventory management, safety, asset protection, and claims operations while fostering a high-performing, inclusive team culture. This position ensures compliance with company policies and supports business objectives through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Asset Protection Operations Coach:
- Drive sales by ensuring accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, inventory levels, cleanliness, and effective merchandise presentation.
- Lead and develop teams by providing training, coaching, feedback, and clear communication of business goals and operational standards.
- Model exceptional customer service standards, manage customer service initiatives, resolve issues, and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience.
- Supervise and mentor hourly associates by hiring, training, assigning duties, setting expectations, and fostering diversity and inclusion.
- Manage loss prevention efforts by monitoring inventory control, conducting audits, investigating policy violations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Investigate alleged fraud and illegal activities, gather evidence, write reports, and collaborate with investigative entities as necessary.
- Monitor and improve facility safety by supervising safety teams, identifying accident trends, providing training, and implementing preventive measures.
- Oversee asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and identifying training needs.
- Manage claims and receiving operations by ensuring timely processing and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support business initiatives, measure progress, and drive continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics, promote the Open Door Policy, and uphold company values with integrity.
Qualifications and Experience of Asset Protection Operations Coach:
- Completion of 2 years of college; OR
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a multi-department environment; OR
- 1 year experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, persoel, or asset protection in a multi-department setting; OR
- 2 years of experience in asset protection or a related field.
- Successful completion of applicable state requirements, certifications, or licensing related to asset protection.
- Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms training if applicable.
- Completion of all required job training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or Criminal Justice.
- Certification in asset protection (e.g., Loss Prevention Qualified, Loss Prevention Certified).
- Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management and mentoring.
- Investigative experience in asset protection or related fields.

Salary:
The aual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $80,000.00, plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation may include Regional Pay Zone, Sales Volume Category, and Complex Structure bonuses based on location and business factors.
