Job Summary of Yard Driver:

This position supports the efficient movement and handling of merchandise using specialized powered equipment. The role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork to ensure that products are organized and ready for distribution. The individual will play a key part in maintaining a smooth supply chain operation and meeting productivity targets.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Yard Driver:

• Operate powered equipment including motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, clamp lifts, and stock pickers.
• Transport merchandise within the facility efficiently and safely.
• Ensure goods are organized and staged according to operational guidelines.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation safety checks on all equipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow schedule and task-based workflows to meet fulfillment goals.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve workflow or equipment issues.
• Comply with all safety policies, company procedures, and training requirements.

Qualifications and Experience of Yard Driver:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift items throughout a shift in a physically demanding environment.
• Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory movement.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Ability to work weekends and follow assigned shift schedules.
