Job Summary of Facilities Maintenance Technician:

Your principal duty is to ensure the smooth ruing of the Distribution Center by maintaining, fixing, and conducting preventive maintenance on equipment and building structures. Your skill in utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) will enable you to manage work orders, monitor repairs, and supervise equipment performance effectively. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Facilities Maintenance Technician:

• Equipment Care: Conduct scheduled maintenance and fixes on various equipment types, including material handling, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems, to uphold operational effectiveness.
• Implement regular maintenance procedures to prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend the lifespan of industrial assets.
• Problem-solving: Determining and remedying complicated equipment malfunctions through the interpretation of technical schematics, drawings, and diagnostic equipment to ensure efficient repairs and limit operational disturbances.
• Working in cooperation with colleagues and supervisors to support maintenance plans and determine repair priorities in order to fulfill operational requirements.
• Employ a CMMS to organize and monitor maintenance operations, encompassing tasks like recording work requests, tracking inventory usage, managing labor allocation, and maintaining historical maintenance data.
• Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to guarantee a safe working atmosphere for yourself and your team members.

Qualifications and Experience of Facilities Maintenance Technician:

• Those who possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification, along with technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, are preferred for this position.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical work in industrial maintenance or a related sector is essential, along with expertise in automated equipment systems.
• - Skilled in the repair and upkeep of various systems, including those that are mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic in nature.
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and the capacity to monitor and coordinate maintenance tasks and service appointments.
• Proficient problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

The salary for this job can be anywhere from $15.60 to $43.40 per hour, determined by the level of expertise and qualifications. There is also potential for added earnings of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
