Job Summary of Business Development Manager:

This role supports Walmart Coect’s Strategy team in identifying, evaluating, and accelerating revenue opportunities through strategic partnerships. The position involves leading initiatives from opportunity definition through execution, particularly focusing on advertising technologies such as Coected TV (CTV). The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, financial modeling experience, and proven strategic thinking to support business development initiatives across Walmart Coect.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Business Development Manager:

  • Define and size new revenue opportunities through partnerships and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify, structure, and execute partnerships from evaluation and negotiation through launch and operational handoff.
  • Build data-driven business cases to support recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to design proof of concepts and drive adoption post-launch.
  • Support long-term strategy definition projects and contribute to executive-level communications.
  • Conduct market research, data collection, and competitor analysis to inform decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience of Business Development Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 3 years of relevant experience OR 5 years of experience in business development, product development, or related areas.
  • 4-6+ years of experience in partnerships, consulting, investment banking, or business development in technology, retail, media, or advertising.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic plaing.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills with experience in influencing stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-profile projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and experienced in developing new concepts or iovations.

Hoboken, NJ: $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 per year.San Bruno, CA: $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 per year
