Job Summary of Walmart Custodian:

Your role will focus on creating a positive first and last impression for our members by ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will be responsible for tasks such as sweeping, cleaning floors, managing trash receptacles, and maintaining restrooms, all while ensuring that the environment is inviting and safe for customers. You'll need to stay active and maintain a positive attitude, ensuring that members have an exceptional experience every time they visit.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Walmart Custodian:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure all areas of the facility (including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles) are in top condition.
• Ensure the safety of the facility by adhering to safety standards and procedures, including conducting safety sweeps and handling hazardous materials appropriately.
• Respond promptly to spills and other maintenance issues, operating floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment.
• Ensure the appropriate levels of maintenance supplies and chemicals are available and stored properly, including ordering new supplies as needed.
• Dispose of cardboard, plastic, and other trash in compliance with the Company’s Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain a positive attitude, ensuring that the members’ experience from start to finish is exemplary.

Qualifications and Experience of Walmart Custodian:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in maintenance or cleaning preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for long periods and performing manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
