Job Duties and Responsibilities of Walmart Area Manager:
- Communicate effectively with individuals or groups to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and provide clear direction.
- Implement business plans by managing schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve production, quality, and safety targets.
- Monitor performance metrics and review business reports to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards through training and policy enforcement.
- Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns by consulting with others and implementing corrective actions.
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders through coaching, performance feedback, and training initiatives.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive culture that values differences and supports associate engagement and growth.
- Model ethical behavior and uphold company values while maintaining accountability and integrity in all processes.
- Use data and insights to make informed decisions that balance short- and long-term priorities.
- Encourage iovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability in support of ongoing change initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience of Walmart Area Manager:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience; or
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field; or
- 1 year of Walmart Logistics Management experience; or
- 2 years of Walmart Logistics experience; or
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Must complete all job-required training programs and assessments.

Salary:
$72,050 – $108,000 per year. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses, regional pay adjustments, and stock incentives based on role.
