Job Summary of Store Pharmacy Manager:

Administer immunizations, dispense prescriptions correctly, and oversee pharmacy operations to deliver comprehensive patient care. Lead the pharmacy team in emphasizing patient-centered practices, business growth, and community outreach, while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Pharmacy Manager:

• Ensure that prescriptions are dispensed accurately and immunizations are administered in compliance with the regulations outlined by the Board of Pharmacy.
• Optimize sales revenue and financial gains by managing the presentation of products, pricing strategies, inventory levels, and budgeting in the pharmacy and OTC departments.
• Provide guidance and leadership to pharmacy team members, emphasizing superior customer service and addressing issues in accordance with company procedures.
• Organize community outreach events, including Wellness Days, and motivate team members to engage.
• Observe compliance with legal, company, and regulatory policies by consistently monitoring, mitigating risks, and ensuring safety measures.
• Administer pharmacy operations to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, standard procedures, and quality control standards.
• Regulate the inventory movement and handle any issues associated with purchasing merchandise and supervising stock levels.
• Illustrate effective financial management by monitoring budgets, reporting finances, and aligning with strategic goals.
• Develop a culture that prioritizes patient safety and top-notch healthcare delivery by outlining expectations clearly and establishing accountability across the board.
• Execute and monitor compliance strategies, specifically regarding billing procedures and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Build a working environment that embraces diversity, encourages cooperative interactions, and enhances the skills and knowledge of associates.

Qualifications and Experience of Store Pharmacy Manager:

• Holding a Pharmacy Bachelor's degree, PharmD, or comparable FPGEC certification recognized by the NABP.
• Individuals must ensure they have a valid pharmacy license before their job start date.
• Fulfillment of the criteria for an ACPE-approved immunization training program, like the one offered by the APhA, pharmacy schools, or State Pharmacy Associations.
• Experience in the U.S. pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Salary:

This position offers an aual salary range of $112,000 to $197,000.
