Job Summary:

This role supports fresh food and grocery operations including departments such as deli, bakery, produce, dairy, meat, and dry goods. Associates ensure quality standards are met while providing exceptional customer service. From checking freshness to stocking shelves and preparing food, this position plays a key role in helping customers access healthy, fresh, and delicious food options daily.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in locating and selecting fresh and packaged grocery items.
• Ensure availability of high-quality products in produce, deli, bakery, meat, and dairy sections.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and monitor inventory for freshness and presentation.
• Prepare, pack, and serve ready-to-eat food while maintaining food safety standards.
• Support customer orders such as cake decorations or custom deli requests.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned work areas to meet store standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Entry-level position with training provided.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and handling is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.

Salary:

The hourly wage ranges from $16.00 to $26.00 depending on location and experience. Additional compensation includes quarterly or annual performance incentives. Premiums from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on shift, department, or season.
