You will play a key role in the maintenance and operation of our irrigation systems, ensuring a well-maintained outdoor environment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing irrigation components to ensure efficiency and reliability. Your responsibilities will include managing resources, utilizing technology for work orders, and prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Facility Services Technician:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various irrigation system components such as controllers, valves, heads, and piping.
• Operate specialized equipment and vehicles for tasks like pressure testing, trenching, and pipe installation.
• Order irrigation supplies and spare parts, and obtain quotes from external contractors when necessary.
• Assist in prioritizing upgrades and replacements of irrigation systems and equipment.
• Leverage technology (phones, tablets, laptops) to complete work orders, maintain records, and document tasks.
• Adhere to safety policies, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.
• Perform seasonal maintenance tasks, including winterization and spring startup of irrigation systems.

Qualifications and Experience of Facility Services Technician:

• 1-3 years of experience in landscaping or irrigation, with a focus on plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid, state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight and weekends.
