Job Summary of Associate Eye Doctor:

This role supports clinical operations, ensures a clean and compliant optical area, and provides a customer-first experience in a retail healthcare setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Associate Eye Doctor:

• Assist patients with frame styling, lens selection, and fitting adjustments.
• Verify optical prescriptions and prepare accurate eyewear orders.
• Keep optical displays organized and fully stocked according to merchandising guidelines.
• Educate customers on optical product features, usage, and care.
• Support associates and optometrists in routine optical operations and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
• Facilitate claims processing, product returns, and warranty services.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock rotation and ordering.

Qualifications and Experience of Associate Eye Doctor:

• Minimum: Currently enrolled in an accredited school of Optometry.
• Preferred: Previous retail or healthcare customer service experience; knowledge of optical tools and terminology is a plus.

Salary:

• Hourly compensation ranges from $15.00 to $32.00, depending on experience and role responsibilities.
