Job Summary of Member Frontline:
As a Member Frontline Cashier Associate, you will be a key part of the front-end team, delivering exceptional service that shapes how members feel about their experience at the club. You will operate registers, assist with self-checkout, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction process. This fast-paced role requires multitasking and a positive attitude to help keep member satisfaction high.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Member Frontline:
- Greet members warmly, providing a friendly and welcoming experience that encourages satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operate registers efficiently, scanning items, processing payments, and handling various membership types and payment methods.
- Assist members with self-checkout technology, offering guidance and support to improve their shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, ensuring it is member-ready and compliant with company policies.
- Provide information on memberships, upgrades, programs, and benefits, encouraging renewals and promoting club services.
- Support sales and marketing events by completing required documentation and promoting Sam's Club products and services.
- Handle returns, zoning merchandise, and identifying shrink or damages to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership, communicating progress and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and safety guidelines to uphold the club’s values and integrity.
Qualifications and Experience of Member Frontline:
- Preferred experience in customer service or retail environments, including familiarity with front-end equipment such as cash registers.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and provide excellent member service.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods while assisting members promptly and courteously.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications is a plus.

Salary:
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The exact rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, with multiple premiums potentially applying.
