Job Summary:

As a Cart & Janitorial Associate at Walmart, you will play a key role in ensuring that customers have a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your responsibilities will include gathering carts from the parking lot, maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms, and operating equipment to move carts inside the store. Responsibilities:

• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store efficiently and safely.
• Clean and maintain the sales floor, restrooms, and parking lot areas to ensure they are sanitary and presentable at all times.
• Operate equipment such as cart pushers and other cleaning tools to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor, regardless of weather conditions, while performing job duties.
• Support the Front-End Services team by assisting with other tasks as needed to ensure the overall cleanliness and efficiency of the store.
• Adhere to Walmart’s safety standards, procedures, and guidelines while performing tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to operate equipment and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, approachable attitude.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
