General Maintenance
Job Summary of General Maintenance:
This position supports operational excellence by performing preventive maintenance, general repairs, and facility upkeep within a distribution environment. The role contributes to efficient warehouse performance by ensuring all equipment, electrical systems, and physical infrastructure operate safely and reliably during assigned shifts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyor systems, battery charging stations, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ensure custodial duties are completed to meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Perform regular inspections and document equipment conditions, repairs, and maintenance logs.
- Comply with safety procedures, reporting hazards and correcting unsafe practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues affecting workflow.
- Support operational readiness during weekends and special projects as required by shift assignments.
Qualifications and Experience of General Maintenance:
- Experience in maintenance, custodial services, or industrial equipment repair is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, or mechanical equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, maintenance manuals, and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving issues.
- Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Valid certifications or licenses for electrical or mechanical work are advantageous.

Salary:
- Hourly wage ranges from $14 to $38.90, based on experience and responsibilities.
- Premiums from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, or specific tasks.
