Job Summary of Walmart Stocking Coach:

This role leads and develops store teams to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee store area performance by managing associates, executing business initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Collaborating across departments, you will help foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Walmart Stocking Coach:

• Lead and develop teams by providing training, coaching, and feedback while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Model and promote outstanding customer service standards aligned with the One Best Way service model, managing initiatives to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Drive financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor hourly associates, setting clear expectations and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion awareness within the team.
• Coordinate and oversee store operations by building relationships with stakeholders, setting business goals, monitoring progress, and implementing process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, ethics, and standards of integrity, supporting an open and accountable work environment.
• Promote respect and belonging by embracing diverse perspectives and creating opportunities for all associates to thrive.
• Support Walmart’s sustainability goals by contributing to waste reduction and community engagement initiatives.
• Make data-driven decisions balancing short- and long-term priorities to optimize customer experience and business outcomes.
• Champion continuous improvement by adopting new technologies, encouraging innovation, and supporting others through change.

Qualifications and Experience of Walmart Stocking Coach:

• Minimum of 2 years of college education; OR 1 year of retail experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of all required training and assessments.
• For facilities selling firearms or ammunition, compliance with specific background checks and training is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or equivalent certificate through Walmart’s Live Better U program.
• Preferred: Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination responsibilities.

Salary:

The annual salary range for this position is $69,000 to $80,000 plus applicable differentials and performance-based bonuses. Additional compensation may include regional pay adjustments, sales volume incentives, and allowances for complex facility operations.
