Job Duties and Responsibilities of Checkout Operator:

• Enhance customer experience by acknowledging and thanking each client warmly and with a smile.
• Expertly navigate the checkout process by efficiently scaing and bagging customer purchases, all the while attending to any questions or concerns and ensuring a smooth transaction experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in your specified location to foster a welcoming feel.
• Provide assistance to team members across departments to improve the overall effectiveness of the store.
• Ensure safe retrieval and organization of shopping carts in the parking lot using designated store tools.
• Ensure that the restrooms, parking lots, and other locations within the store are clean to uphold a safe and inviting shopping environment.
• Engage in activities in a high-energy environment, especially over weekends and holidays.
• Follow Walmart's regulations regarding safety measures, cleanliness, and interactions with customers unfailingly.

Qualifications and Experience of Checkout Operator:

• Showing proficiency in interpersonal interactions and communication, with a primary emphasis on meeting customer needs.
• Demonstrate the ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects weighing as much as 50 pounds.
• Adaptable and at ease in a rapidly changing environment.
• The role demands the flexibility to work during non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Having a history in customer service or retail can be advantageous, but it is not a must.

Salary:
