Job Summary of Food / Consumables Team Associate:

Support customer satisfaction and merchandise presentation at Walmart by ensuring timely movement of inventory from receiving to the salesfloor. Focus on maintaining well stocked shelves and creating engaging seasonal displays for food and consumable products. This role contributes to a positive shopping experience through attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, organization, and friendly service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Food / Consumables Team Associate:

• Unload and stock food and consumable merchandise efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain organized displays and product availability throughout the day.
• Set up seasonal or promotional features that align with merchandising plans.
• Ensure all items are properly labeled and comply with food safety standards.
• Assist customers with product location and basic inquiries.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure salesfloor readiness.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.

Qualifications and Experience of Food / Consumables Team Associate:

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including mornings and weekends.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills required.

Salary:

• Hourly wage: $14.50 – $27.50, based on role-specific factors.
• Additional premiums between $0.35 and $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, duties, or season.
