Job Duties and Responsibilities of Pharmacist In Charge:
- Guarantee precise distribution of medications and delivery of vaccinations in accordance with the regulations set by the Board of Pharmacy.
- Boost sales and revenue through overseeing the display, pricing, stock levels, and financial plaing in pharmacy and over-the-counter product sections.
- Lead and direct pharmacy staff, promoting superior customer service and addressing concerns following company protocols.
- Supervise initiatives for engaging with the community, such as Wellness Days, and promote involvement among team members.
- Consistently adhere to legal, corporate, and regulatory guidelines by conducting routine assessments, risk mitigation, and security measures.
- Oversee pharmacy procedures to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, standard operating protocols, and benchmarks for quality assurance.
- Supervise the movement of inventory and resolve any concerns regarding the procurement of goods and supervision of stock levels.
- Display effective financial control by overseeing budgets, reporting financial information, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Establishing a foundation of patient safety and excellence in care can be achieved by clearly defining standards and holding individuals responsible.
- Enforce and oversee adherence measures, such as billing protocols and HIPAA compliance, to ensure regulatory requirements are met consistently.

Qualifications and Experience of Pharmacist In Charge:
- Possession of a Pharmacy Bachelor's degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) qualification, or certification from the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) recognized by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).
- A pharmacy license that is current and valid is required before the start of employment.
- Completion of a program for immunization training accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), such as those offered by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), pharmacy schools, or State Pharmacy Associations.
- U.S. experience in the pharmaceutical field is highly valued.
