Job Summary of Overnight Stocking Manager:

This role is responsible for leading and developing store teams to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives. The position involves coaching associates, driving operational excellence, managing financial performance, and fostering a culture of inclusion and integrity. The leader will champion company initiatives, ensure compliance, and promote continuous improvement to support the overall success of the store.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Overnight Stocking Manager:

• Lead, coach, and develop store associates by providing training, feedback, and ongoing support.
• Drive customer service standards by modeling the One Best Way (OBW) service model and resolving customer concerns effectively.
• Manage the financial performance of the store area through analysis of profit and loss statements, budgeting, and expense control.
• Oversee merchandise presentation, inventory flow, seasonal transitions, and shrink reduction initiatives.
• Hire, mentor, and retain a diverse team while promoting a culture of belonging and engagement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business goals and adapt plans based on data-driven insights.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and safety standards, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.
• Lead change management efforts by communicating clear expectations and guiding teams through business initiatives.
• Support community engagement efforts and contribute to Walmart's regenerative goals.

Qualifications and Experience of Overnight Stocking Manager:

• Minimum of two years of college education; OR one year retail experience plus one year supervisory experience; OR two years general work experience plus one year supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of required trainings and assessments.
• For locations selling firearms, the ability to pass a firearms-specific background check and training.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or relevant certificate through Walmart's Live Better U program.
• Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, hiring, and mentoring.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to change, drive continuous improvement, and lead diverse teams.

Salary:

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000, plus applicable differentials based on location and legislative requirements.
