Job Duties and Responsibilities of Merchandise Stocker:

• Take out products from the shipment trucks.
• Adhere to Walmart's standards for stocking shelves by handling the transportation of goods to their respective sales areas and organizing them appropriately.
• Keep up with frequent stock assessments to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Bring any discrepancies to the attention of the management team to address and resolve.
• Ensure tidiness and orderliness in the backroom storage sections.
• Ensure merchandise is stored and labeled appropriately to simplify the process of finding it.
• Support patrons in locating products throughout the store.
• Details about special offers, markdowns, and operational guidelines at the store.
• Observe safety measures to ensure a protected working atmosphere.
• Utilize proper lifting procedures and wear the necessary protective gear.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete tasks.
• Provide support to different departments or regions of the retail space as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience of Merchandise Stocker:

• A high school diploma or a similar qualification is desirable.
• Retail background is a plus.
• Aptitude for raising bulky objects and executing physically challenging duties.
• Sharp eye for detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• The capacity to communicate effectively and foster strong relationships is essential in various contexts.
