Job Duties and Responsibilities of Walmart Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance:
- Maintain and repair facilities and equipment across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment.
- Utilize work order management systems to receive, track, and document repair activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.
- Inspect, operate, and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues and ensure proper functioning.
- Complete all required safety and operational training to handle tools and equipment effectively.
Qualifications and Experience of Walmart Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance:
- Vocational or technical certification with a minimum of five years’ experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or material handling equipment, or seven years of related trade experience.
- Valid driver’s license with eligibility to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Proficiency in intermediate functionality of word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work comfortably at heights and on ladders.

Salary:
- The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $40.00, dependent on qualifications and experience.
- Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
