Job Summary of GM Coach:

This role is responsible for leading and developing teams to achieve operational excellence. The position focuses on enhancing associate performance through training and coaching, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving financial and sales results. The individual will collaborate across organizational levels to implement business initiatives, promote continuous improvement, and support company values and culture.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of GM Coach:

• Lead and develop teams by providing training, coaching, and constructive feedback to associates.
• Engage with associates at all levels to communicate store operations, business initiatives, merchandising strategies, and company direction.
• Model and uphold superior customer service standards by implementing recognized service models and managing customer service initiatives.
• Address customer needs and resolve complaints effectively while developing action plans for process improvements.
• Drive financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Oversee merchandise presentation, inventory management, and operational processes to maximize sales and reduce shrinkage.
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor hourly associates, setting clear expectations and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support business objectives and customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, uphold ethical standards, and promote an environment of integrity and accountability.
• Encourage diversity, equity, and inclusion, supporting a culture where all associates feel valued and empowered.
• Support company initiatives aimed at sustainability, community engagement, and continuous learning.

Qualifications and Experience of GM Coach:

• Two years of college education; one year of retail experience coupled with one year of supervisory experience; or two years of general work experience with one year of supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of job-required training and assessments is mandatory.
• For facilities selling firearms or ammunition, relevant background checks and training certifications may be required.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or completion of leadership certifications through recognized education programs.
• Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including responsibilities such as performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing, is desirable.

Salary:

• Aual salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000, with additional differential pay as required by legislation.
• Performance-based bonus awardsare  offered quarterly or aually.
• Additional compensation may include regional pay, sales volume incentives, and allowances for complex work environments.
