Job Summary of Vision Center Optometrist:

Enhance customer satisfaction and promote eye health by supporting the delivery of optical services within a retail environment. This role includes assisting with eyewear selection, verifying prescriptions, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and compliant workspace in alignment with Walmart's standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Vision Center Optometrist:

• Assist customers in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses suited to their prescriptions and preferences.
• Work with the optometrist to gather accurate eye measurements and ensure prescription fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels and perform restocking activities in the optical department.
• Ensure proper handling and organization of optical merchandise and supplies.
• Provide minor eyewear adjustments and repairs, such as realignment and cleaning services.
• Support the processing of eyewear and contact lens orders with attention to accuracy.
• Comply with company regulations including HIPAA and safety protocols.
• Facilitate returns and exchanges and assist with customer inquiries or complaints.

Qualifications and Experience of Vision Center Optometrist:

• Minimum: Enrollment in an accredited Optometry program.
• Preferred: Retail or optical experience and strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.

Salary:

• Pay range is between $15.00 and $32.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
